159 ACRE DAIRY FARM TO BE OFFERED IN PARCELS: 159 acre dairy farm to be offered in parcels: PARCEL 1: The buildings and approx. 20 acres of land, being the south half of TID# 003-008-010-000.00, with approx. 10 acres under cultivation. Buildings consist of a beautiful 2-story Cape Cod brick home w/4 bedrooms, 2 up & 2 down, 1-1/2 baths, kitchen, living room w/gas fireplace, foyer, attached 1-car garage. 278 HEAD OF HIGH-GRADE HOLSTEIN DAIRY CATTLE: consisting of 140 milk cows that are some of the finest to be offered this spring. Herd is bred for year-round freshening w/108 head being first & second calf heifers. Rolling herd average is 24,043 lbs milk, 3.87% fat, 930# fat, 3.09% protein, 744# protein, and a 149 SCC. There are 35 bred heifers in all stages; 30 heifers, ready to breed; 30 yearling heifers; 15 heifers, 8 to 11 months; 3 heifers, 5 to 7 months; and 25 heifers, 1 to 4 months. Owner has an excellent eye for cattle and these cows are big, large uddered, w/great legs. They will fit any herd as they are milked in stalls and turned out into free stalls during the day. This is a quality herd. Cattle will be pregnancy checked by a vet. Milk & breeding records will available on the internet and in catalog on day of the sale.
